The new Kenworth AG130 front air suspension for Class 8 vehicles is now available for order.

The Kenworth AG130 is the next generation, proprietary front air suspension that utilizes an innovative design, advanced technology and high-performance components. The disc-brake compatible AG130 is available in 12,000- and 13,200-pound ratings for the Kenworth T660, T800 and T2000 Class 8 models. The AG130 features a four air-bag configuration while other competitive suspensions typically have just two air bags. The four air bags allow the suspension to resist high input torque encountered with disc brakes.

The Kenworth AG130's four air bags handle 75 percent of the vertical load while a lower leaf spring handles the remainder. This design reduces vibration into the cab and onto the chassis to help provide a smooth ride without sacrificing the feel of the road that customers expect from a Kenworth.

Other features include low maintenance bushings, a single valve to control both leveling and height adjustment, and simpler maintenance with easy access through an air spring retention clip for quick airbag replacement. The Kenworth AG130 is also lighter by 20 pounds over traditional 12,000-pound-rated, taperleaf front-end suspensions. Another added bonus of the suspension is that it retrofits onto earlier model Kenworth T660, T800 and T2000 chassis. Customers with older model trucks may contact their local Kenworth dealer if they are interested in upgrading their current truck to the new AG130 front air suspension.
